This acts as a built-in slash shield, absorbing heavy shots and stick impacts without cracking. The one-piece paddle-blade is formed in a single mould for a rigid, directly responsive feel, while the steep shoulder paddle geometry puts the hands in a naturally strong, comfortable position. The EVO blade splits its stiffness zones intelligently — a softer heel for confident puck-handling around the crease, and a stiffer toe for cleanly stopping rimmed pucks along the boards.
